Next week C-Tech will be traveling to Louisville Kentucky for the UPS College and Career Expo.  The Expo kicks off on September 10th with a summit meeting on the value of registered apprenticeships featuring the Governor and Secretary of Labor. Following the summit meeting, on September 11th and 12th the College and Career Expo will welcome over 10,000 students from 49 counties to the event.  These students will be arriving in nearly 200 bus loads to explore different career options and network with local employers.  Veterans and other adults looking for career and education advancements will also be in attendance.

C-Tech will be there at booth # 1138 & 1140 directly across from the Information Technology staging area.  During the expo C-Tech will be inviting students to participate in our Wireless Challenge contest which is part of C-Tech’s soon to be released Wireless Systems Certification Program.  The contest is designed to give students an understanding how wireless communications are achieved.  Students will compete in a head to head competition with their peers using our Interactive Wireless Activity Trainer and several breakout devices to determine Power over Ethernet capabilities as they relate to wireless connections.  Prizes will be awarded to each contest winner!

C-Tech in partnership with our dedicated Certified Training Facilities has successfully prepared thousands of Kentuckians for demand driven occupations.  With C-Tech’s continued support of the Kentucky Department of Education and Kentucky Labor Cabinet we are looking to prepare thousands more in the near future.  If you have interest in growing apprenticeships and the workforce in the Bluegrass State, stop by to see what all the commotion is about.
