C-Tech Program Specialist, Tim Zayac is spending his week in Raleigh, North Carolina training 8 new C-Tech Instructors from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety and the North Carolina Department of Corrections. These instructors have begun training to teach C-Tech’s PREP Programs; Introduction to Telecommunications, Copper-Based Systems, and Fiber-Optic Based Systems. These future C-Tech instructors have been safely engaging with each other throughout the week comparing their teaching styles, learning best practices, and discussing ways to remember different industry terms or sayings like, “bring over the green beans”. Which is a mnemonic phrase to help you remember the pair order for four-pair cables.
